The Museum Centre
of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism
of the Azerbaijan Republic

One of the most beautiful galleries of our capital city is located on the 4th floor of the Museum Centre. The Art Gallery, comprising five halls (overall area 400 m2, exhibition area 700 m2), is equipped with all the necessary light and sound equipment. It is unique and original, because the exhibits are lit by natural daylight from above.

Exhibitions of different profile have been successfully held at the gallery: the first Baku photographic festival “Ayna” (“Mirror”), exhibition of Architectural Monuments “Baku-Absheron”, “Khali”, Works of Polish Architects in Baku, International exhibitions of modern and conceptual art “Aluminum”, “Man and Woman”, Charity exhibition “Souvenir” by the English artist Frances Leach, exhibition of photographs and artistic pieces dedicated to refugees, “Colours of Autumn”, “Spring. Woman. Love”, “Impression of Summer”, “Harmony of Winter” exhibitions by Azerbaijani artists from the “Times of Year” series, “Rainbow of Love” exhibition – the final summary project of 2007, the “5+” exhibition of contemporary art, “Mozalan” exhibition, exhibition by the German photographer Claus Wickrath, who has worked with brands such as “Ralph Lauren”, “Cartier” etc. The exhibition is called “5 directions” and consists of the best works by the artist, divided into 5 sections: flowers, women, children, jewellery and Costa Rica. There was a children’s exhibition by the Tusi College of Art. The exhibition was titled and dedicated to love. There was also a solo exhibition by the famous Bulgarian artist Emil Stoichev, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan. It was held under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Bulgarian Republic Georgi Pirvanov.

The Art Gallery is the best place to hold exhibitions of paintings, graphics, photography, sculpture, design, contemporary and conceptual art, exhibitions of children’s art and folk and fine arts. Finally, it is the place where you can escape the everyday bustle and dive into the World of Real Art.
