About Museum Center

The building of the Museum Center of the Ministry of Culture of the Azerbaijan Republic is located in the very center of Baku, on the Seaside Boulevard; it was constructed in 1960 in a project led by outstanding Azerbaijani architect Hasan Majidov to commemorate the 90th anniversary of V.I.Lenin and was opened in 1961 as a branch of the Moscow Lenin Museum.
In 1991, following the collapse of the USSR, by decree of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic the building was transferred to the Ministry of Culture of the Azerbaijan Republic and renamed the Museum Center.

In the Museum Center are disposed

Museum Center Objects

Also on the fourth floor of the building, in five rooms, are found:

- An Art Gallery, which is one of the biggest and most beautiful in the city

- A Round Ceremonial hall, below the glass cupola of the building, for the holding of presentations, ceremonies, concerts and other important governmental events.

- An Assembly hall is situated between the second and third floors. This is a venue for conferences, round tables, seminars, symposia, cinema evenings and other events.

Фантастическая выставка! Игра цвета – красок, вроде использованы одни и те же, но … Результат удивительный! Низкий поклон фантастическому художнику – господину Карлосу Мота!!! Очень интересная манера письма! Да… Цвет определяет чувства, эмоции, настроение, образы. Сколько свободы для воображения. Ведь каждый зритель видит всё по-своему. Bravo!!! Международная выставка картин американского художника Шейна Гуффогга «The OBSERVER is the OBSERVED»

Удивительные работы. В них, чем больше всматриваешься, тем больше можно увидеть – Вселенная, зоркий глаз, вечное движение, свет всегда прорезывающий мягко тьму. То есть добро покоряет себе зло, побеждая его. Или же свет, прорезающий как ток, сигнал все, что его окружает. Очень философские картины, говорят о глубоком внутреннем мире автора, но в тоже время дают свободу, простор нашему восприятию мира художника. Здорово!!!

«Bakı - İslam mədəniyyətinin paytaxtı-2009» ilinin açılışı münasibətilə vebsaytın təqdimatı və sərgi

Mən 40 il təcrübəsi olan muzey işçisi Amaliya Rza qızı çox tez-tez Muzey Mərkəzində keçirilən sərgilərdə iştirak edirəm. Ümumiyyətlə, Muzey Mərkəzinin təşkil etdiyi hər bir tədbir canlı körpüdür. Burada nümayiş etdirilən foto, tablo, heykəl əl işləri Azərbaycanın incə sənətkarlığı müxtəlif istedadlardan zövqlə toplanıb seyrciləri məmnun edir. Замечательно, что у нас в Баку есть такой Музейный Центр под руководством Л. Везировой, которая собрала вокруг себя замечательных помощников.
