About Museum Center

The building of the Museum Center of the Ministry of Culture of the Azerbaijan Republic is located in the very center of Baku, on the Seaside Boulevard; it was constructed in 1960 in a project led by outstanding Azerbaijani architect Hasan Majidov to commemorate the 90th anniversary of V.I.Lenin and was opened in 1961 as a branch of the Moscow Lenin Museum.
In 1991, following the collapse of the USSR, by decree of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic the building was transferred to the Ministry of Culture of the Azerbaijan Republic and renamed the Museum Center.

In the Museum Center are disposed

Museum Center Objects

Also on the fourth floor of the building, in five rooms, are found:

- An Art Gallery, which is one of the biggest and most beautiful in the city

- A Round Ceremonial hall, below the glass cupola of the building, for the holding of presentations, ceremonies, concerts and other important governmental events.

- An Assembly hall is situated between the second and third floors. This is a venue for conferences, round tables, seminars, symposia, cinema evenings and other events.

Фантастическая выставка! Игра цвета – красок, вроде использованы одни и те же, но … Результат удивительный! Низкий поклон фантастическому художнику – господину Карлосу Мота!!! Очень интересная манера письма! Да… Цвет определяет чувства, эмоции, настроение, образы. Сколько свободы для воображения. Ведь каждый зритель видит всё по-своему. Bravo!!! “Ermənistanın Azərbaycana təcavüzünün 20 ili” adlı rəsm müsabiqəsi

Mədəniyyət Nazirliyinə, Muzey Mərkəzinə “Müharibə uşaqların gözü ilə” Ermənistanın Azərbaycana qarşı təcavüzünün 20 illiyinə, Xocalı Soyqırımının 16 illiyinə həsr olunmuş Uşaqdan Uşağa Sülh Şəbəkəsinin təşkil etdiyi sərginin dəstəklənməsinə görə öz minnətdarlığımı bildirirəm. Bu sərginin uşaqlarımızı, gənclərimizi vətənpərvərlik, sülhpərvərlik ruhunda tərbiyyələndirməkdə olduqca böyük əhəmiyyəti var.
Sülh uzaqda deyil, uşaqları bu günlərə hazırlamaq vacibdir.

Выставка визуального искусства с участием азербайджанских художников

Посещение этой выставки принесло истинную радость и душевное наслаждение. Очень много талантливых работ, которые не конкурируют друг с другом и дополняют общую великолепную картину молодости, таланта.
Кто-то сказал, что талант- это темперамент. На сегодняшней выставке мы наблюдаем калейдоскоп темпераментов, а значит талантов. Трудно выделить какую-то работу, какого-то автора.
Я благодарна организаторам сегодняшнего праздника искусства и желаю всем участникам дальнейшего творческого горения, профессиональных успехов. Спасибо! Джамиля Саттарова
