Organizers: Informational-educational center “The Russian museum: virtual branch”
The Information/Education Centre "Russian Museum: Virtual Branch" of the Museum Centre organised a virtual excursion for schoolchildren on 5 January 2010. They watched a film, "St.Petersburg and its Suburbs" in the Assembly Hall. This was a new film view of the city from the Information/Education Centre "Russian Museum: Virtual Branch". The film presented the architecture, monuments and parts of St.Petersburg and the Imperial residence in the suburbs. After the film the schoolchildren enthusiastically answered a quiz about the sights in Russia's northern capital. The winners of the quiz received ‘sweet' presents form a representative of the Russian Cultural Information Centre in Baku. Taking part in the event were pupils of Baku Schools No. 212 and 23, The Slavic lyceum, School No. 273 from the Garadagh district and School No. 11 from the city of Sumgayit.
